Going home!!

Journal entry by Abigail Johnston —

Has a bit of a scare this morning when my white blood cell count came back at 2.2. Came up to 5.8 and I met with the physical therapist and occupational therapist today. Exceeded their expectation based on their first visit with me the day after surgery. Drs have consulted and we got the good news that we’re headed home tonight. So thankful for everyone checking in, praying for me and helping keep the boys occupied so Elliot could be with me at the hospital and not worry. This transition is by no means the end and we have many more challenges to face, especially getting me on my literal feet again, but glad to have this part dealt with so I can rest at home.
