Recovery has been slow but steady. Victory this morning was getting to the bathroom without help!! Well outside of the walker anyway. Lots of bruising, stiffness, swelling and discomfort. We made it out of the house yesterday using the ramp dad built over the weekend and will be going for bloodwork this morning. Home health care comes later — nurse and PT to help with recovery process from surgery.
