We took the boys on an unforgettable Disney Cruise over Spring Break. It was an amazing time with them and my parents. I was reminded again and again of my limitations and the ongoing side effects of the medication and that did make things bittersweet. I did as much as I could and it worked out that we had help and options for childcare. Love that we can share these memories together.

Came back to lots of voicemail messages, the most notable being from my oncologist giving me the news that my tumor markers came down from 56 to 51 over the last month. Seems that the small upward movement between January and February was an aberration, something that I’m supremely thankful for!

Now, to celebrate Easter. I cannot remember a year that I have been more thankful for the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross out of love for me.
