Happy Monday, everyone! As I approach the seven (7) year anniversary of being told that I have Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) and am deep in the throes of a clinical trial as my six (6th) line is treatment, I find myself struggling to keep up. While writing has always been cathartic and helpful for me in processing all of the emotions that are part of a significant trauma, I find myself needing to focus on my private writing for a bit.
And so I am taking a break, a vacation, a hiatus, from writing new blog posts. I’ll share some previously written posts from time to time and will share the round up regularly that Marie at Journeying Beyond Breast Cancer puts together weekly. So keep an eye out for those and I’ll get back to writing more soon.

Glad I didn’t miss this post, Abigail—so I don’t have to worry about you. FYI: just shared your thoughts about community care v academic centers with family pondering this decision. Very helpful.💕

Please take care of yourself, and the needs of your family, first! I hope the clinical trial makes a positive difference.
