BCAM 2021: Day #19

Knowing the signs and symptoms of different areas of metastases is so important. Whether you are learning to listen to your body prior to or after a breast cancer diagnosis, it’s incumbent on all of us to be able to give medical professionals and others the best information. We live inside our bodies 24/7 and are experts.

Those people with lung metastases have been more susceptible to COVID and other illnesses that attack the lungs and it is important to remember that no one can tell from the outside what is going on inside another’s body. Wearing a mask for COVID and other reasons is a way that we can each care for the people around us, immunocompromised or not.
